Boho Bar
About the Project
An atmospheric bar and restaurant in the heart of Odessa, inspired by bohemian aesthetics and old-world European charm. The design layers rich textures — aged wood, ornate metalwork, warm amber lighting, and curated vintage elements — to create an immersive, intimate dining experience. The ornate exterior facade draws guests in, while the interior unfolds across multiple seating zones, each with its own character, from the main bar to cozy lounge corners.
The facade alone tells the story — hand-carved details, antique-style signage, and warm window light invite guests from the street into another era. Inside, the main bar anchors the space with floor-to-ceiling shelving of bottles and glassware, backed by ornate mirrors and vintage frames. Every surface has been considered — from the pressed-tin ceiling details to the weathered brick walls layered with hand-selected artwork and curiosities.
The seating is divided into distinct zones — high stools at the bar for solo visitors, intimate leather booths for small groups, and open lounge areas with rattan and velvet pieces for larger gatherings. Warm amber pendant lighting throughout keeps the atmosphere low and inviting. The "Boho Bar" illuminated sign serves as both a wayfinding element and a signature moment for the space, tying the eclectic design together under one bold identity.
Project Workflow
Coordinating artisan contractors for bespoke carpentry, metalwork, and facade restoration. Final styling of every shelf, table setting, and decorative detail before the opening night photography and handover.

Build-Out & Styling
Hand-picking vintage mirrors, antique frames, ornate metalwork, and decorative objects from local markets and specialty suppliers. Every item was chosen to contribute to the narrative, not just fill a surface.

Artisan Sourcing & Curation
Custom furniture selection, material sourcing, and a detailed lighting plan to achieve the warm amber atmosphere. Each zone received its own fixture mix — pendants, wall sconces, and hidden accent lights — to create depth without harsh contrasts.

Interior & Lighting Design
Research into bohemian and vintage European bar culture. We assembled mood boards referencing classic Odessa architecture, Parisian bistros, and artisan craftsmanship to establish the layered, eclectic direction for the space.
